1-3 Regional Auditions Rounds
01 - May 30 Western Auditions (Vancouver, Calgary, Saskatoon, Whitehorse and Winnipeg)
02 - May 31 Eastern Auditions (St. John‘s, Charlottetown, Sydney, Moncton and Montréal)
03 - June 01 Central Auditions (London, Sudbury and Toronto)
   
4-5 Top 32 Qualification Rounds
04 - Tue June 07 A record 187 Gold Ticket holders compete to make it to the Top 32
05 - Wed June 08 This year's Top 32 is revealed at the end of the show!
   
6-13 Top 10 Qualification Rounds
06 - Tue June 14 First group of 8 performs after which voting starts!
07 - Wed June 15 LIVE Who will be in the Top-3? But only 2 go through to the Top-10
08 - Tue June 21 Second group of 8 performs, voting starts after the show
09 - Wed June 22 LIVE Who will be in the Top-3? Only 2 go through to the Top-10
10 - Tue June 28 Third group of 8 performs, voting starts after the show
11 - Wed June 29 LIVE Who will be in the Top-3? Still only 2 go through to the Top-10
12 - Tue July 05 Fourth and final group of 8 performs, voting starts after the show
13 - Wed July 06 LIVE Again only 2 go through to the Top-10... but who will be in this year's Wild Card group?
   
14-15 Wild Card Round
14 - Tue July 12 The Wild Card group of 8 are given another change to perform (voting after the show)
15 - Wed July 13 LIVE  * 7:30 PM * But again only 2 of those will the final members of this year's Top-10.
   
16-31 Top 10 Elimination Rounds
16 - Tue July 19 LIVE Top 10 Performs - Theme: Canadian Hits
17 - Wed July 20 LIVE Who are in the bottom 3? One competitor is sent home. ft. Carrie Underwood
18 - Tue July 26 LIVE Top 9 performs - Theme: Stevie Wonder
19 - Wed July 27 LIVE Who are in the bottom 3? Again one competitor is sent home.
20 - Tue Aug 02 LIVE Top 8 performs - Theme: The Music of the 80s
21 - Wed Aug 03 LIVE The competitor receiving the lowest number of votes is sent home.
22 - Tue Aug 09 LIVE Top 7 performs - Theme: The Standards (ft. Big Band Orchestra)
23 - Wed Aug 10 LIVE Again one competitor must fall and will be sent home. (ft. Big Band Orchestra)
24 - Tue Aug 16 LIVE Top 6 performs - Theme: Classic Rock ft. live Rock band
25 - Wed Aug 17 LIVE Six will become 5 after one competitor is sent home. (ft. live Rock band)
26 - Tue Aug 23 LIVE Top 5 performs - Theme: Tribute to The Guess Who (ft. live band)
27 - Wed Aug 24 LIVE Only half of the Top 10 is left... and again one will be sent home. (ft. live band)
28 - Tue Aug 30 LIVE Top 4 performs - Theme: The Music of Elvis Presley
29 - Wed Aug 31 LIVE Things are heating up... one is sent home, three are left.
30 - Tue Sept  06 LIVE Top 3 performs - Theme: Salute to the Barenaked Ladies
31 - Wed Sept  07 LIVE This is it... the finalists will remain after one more competitor is sent home. ft. Jacob Hoggard
   
32-33 Grand Finale
32 - Tue Sept  13 LIVE (90 minutes) During the Grand Finale performance show, Judges' Choice / Canadian Idol Single
